Many senior living communities levy additional fees for Assisted Living Services (such as med distribution) based on a “Point” or ” Level” system. These plans combine numerous services into “packages” and charge for you for the entire package even if you do not need all of the services. Clearly, the level system is designed to benefit the facility, not the resident. At Sunnycrest we have an à la carte system where you choose exactly what service you need and want; you stay in control of it; and you do not have to pay for services that you don’t want or need.

Aloha, Fullerton

On August 19th, Sunnycrest Senior Living in Fullerton hosted our annual Hawiian Summer Luau. Over 250 guests celebrated Hawaiian-style with live musical entertainment, mezmerizing Hawaiian Dancers, delicious food and icy cold beverages. It was especially nice to greet members of our unofficial “Alumni Association,” who return to Sunnycrest for fond family memories. The Hawaiian Dancers were the biggest hit with the grown-ups, but the grandkids loved the Candy Artist, who made incredible, edible art! We were fortunate that the heat broke right as we were beginning, and the night sky was lit up with smiles from young and old.

Do Not Disturb

There’s no question that moving can be disruptive and disturbing. None of us likes to do it. Yet, most senior living communities insist that, as they require additional personal services, residents move to a different floor, or a different wing, or sometimes even a different building. At Sunnycrest, you don’t have to move. We respect that this is your home and we do what is best and least stressful for you, not what is easiest and least costly for the company. We feel that we are here for you, not the other way around.
