Sherry Fischer | Executive Director
Born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley, Sherry Fischer is thrilled to be named as Executive Director of Sunnycrest Senior Living. With nearly a decade of Executive Director experience in the senior care/assisted living industry, Sherry is driven by building healthy and active senior communities by providing stellar customer service and accountability to the communities she manages.
Sherry’s career in assisted living started by accident. Literally. Her aging father, who lived alone, had a fall and was rushed to the hospital. At the hospital and surrounded by healthcare professionals, the family realized he would need full-time, around the clock care if he were to have any quality of life. They began the emotional and sometimes difficult search for a residential facility that could handle his specialized healthcare needs. After losing her father, this experience led her to take a career leap and she became a Sales Director for a senior living company, earning the distinction of being their top sales director two years in a row. Sherry is eager to work with staff and has a penchant for guiding, coaching and mentoring. She is an advocate for career advancement and has encouraged many caregivers to further their professional development and enroll in nursing school, many of whom are nurses today!

Kristen Collins | Director of Sales & Marketing
Kristen Collins has been working as a sales and marketing professional for over 20 years. Four years ago when she began working in the Senior Living industry, she found her passion in life which is working with and helping seniors. She recently moved to California from Durango, Colorado where she raised her 2 sons, Chase and Connor. Kristen enjoys spending time with her friends and family, skiing, hiking and going to the beach. Prior to relocating to California, Kristen was an avid volunteer for the Alzheimer’s Association in Durango and SW Colorado chapters.

Kari Volen | Director of Sales & Marketing
Kari Volen has been working as a marketing professional for over ten years. She began her career back in 2005 with a local credit union where she was their Community Education & Development Representative. She then moved to the senior living industry in 2015 at an Integral Senior Living community. She enjoys volunteering with the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of her Grandfather and mentoring girls for beauty pageants.

Patricia Colin | Business Office Director
Pat has served as the Business Office Director at Sunnycrest Senior Living for two years. She has twenty years of experience in Residential Management and Business Administration. She is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and human resources. Pat enjoys working with the wonderful Sunnycrest residents, their great families, and the incredible Sunnycrest staff. Pat is a lifelong resident of Orange County.

Carmen Galicia | Vibrant Life Director
Carmen found her passion for seniors in 2008, when she met a resident who had just made the transition into senior living. This gentleman had given up on life, which inspired her to ask for the Activity position so she could help provide meaningful activities to seniors to brighten their day! A Sunnycrest employee since 2014, Carmen serves as our Vibrant Life Director and loves working at this community because she feels the residents treat the staff like family and not employees.

Natalie Andujo| Assisted Living Director
Natalie was born and raised in Los Angeles and was the youngest of seven siblings. After graduating from high school, she worked at USC doing clerical and administrative work for the Urology/Oncology Department at The Norris Cancer Center. It was there that her initial interest in the medical field was sparked. In 2001, Natalie’s father was placed on Hospice for Congestive Heart Failure and sadly passed away in September of 2002. As one of his caregivers, she realized that caring for people was something she wanted to continue doing. Natalie started with different medical courses at the local Regional Occupational Program and became a CNA working in Home care, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing. In 2008, she graduated from a Vocational School and got licensed as a Vocational Nurse. Since then she has worked as a nurse for both Home Health and Assisted Living. She has worked at four other assisted living communities since 2012 as a Med Tech, Wellness Nurse and Care Coordinator. In 2016, Natalie joined the Sunnycrest family as the Assisted Living Director.
