Sherry Fischer

Executive Director

Born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley, Sherry Fischer is thrilled to be the executive director of Sunnycrest Senior Living. With nearly a decade of experience in the senior care/assisted living industry, Sherry is driven to build healthy and active senior communities by providing stellar customer service and accountability to the communities she manages. Sherry is eager to work with staff and has a penchant for guiding, coaching and mentoring. She is an advocate for career advancement and has encouraged many caregivers to further their professional development and enroll in nursing school – many of them are nurses today!

Kristen Collins

Director of Sales and Marketing

Kristen Collins has been working as a sales and marketing professional for over 20 years. She recently moved to California from Colorado, where she raised her two sons, Chase and Connor. Kristen enjoys spending time with her friends and family, skiing, hiking, and going to the beach. Prior to relocating to California, Kristen was an avid volunteer for the Alzheimer’s Association in Durango and surrounding Colorado chapters.

Patricia Colin

Business Office Director

Originally from Orange County, Pat has 20 years of experience in residential management and business administration. She is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and human resources. Pat enjoys working with the wonderful Sunnycrest residents, their great families and the incredible Sunnycrest staff.

Alma Gomez

Senior Vibrant Life Director

Alma Gomez has been working with seniors for over 18 years. As her grandmother’s companion, she often witnessed how seniors were sometimes not given the quality of life they deserved. Wanting to help improve their quality of life, she began working in assisted living after becoming a certified nurse assistant. Working in activities for the last 10 years, Alma works to ensure that residents moving to a senior community have a pleasant experience. She strives to offer programming to keep residents active, social and engaged. Alma was raised in Southern California, the oldest of five siblings. Along with her brothers, Alma loves football and is a lifelong 49ers fan. She loves to travel with her husband and have as many adventures as possible. Alma is an animal lover and currently has two dogs and four cats. She is thrilled to be part of the Sunnycrest family.

Amanda Blake Secola

Director of Sales and Marketing

Amanda Blake Secola has a passion for older adults and has worked in the senior service industry for over 20 years. She became acquainted with Sunnycrest Senior Living in 2015, when her mother-in-law broke a hip. Prior to the incident, she was living with Amanda and her husband. After her surgery and rehabilitation, it was apparent that she would require more care. They were directed to Sunnycrest, where she lived for two years. Amanda and her husband were appreciative and impressed with the care and attention she got and the peace of mind for their family. That experience brought Amanda to Sunnycrest in order to share this opportunity with others. Her experience includes corporate sales and marketing for the senior living industry as well as a background working with Medicare and Medicare Advantage programs at Anthem and CareMore. Her education includes a B.S. degree in organizational leadership and development, a master’s degree in health care management, RCFE certification, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt practitioner. She is an avid volunteer and believes in serving her community as a director with Soroptimist International and Orange Senior Center.

Michelle Adams

Resident Care Director

Michelle Adams has proudly worked in the health care industry for more than 10 years as a licensed vocational nurse providing clinical services for seniors. She started her career in a top-ranked skilled nursing facility in the Greater Los Angeles area providing bedside care to residents as a wound care nurse specialist and eventually became a lead charge nurse. Her desire to provide high-quality care for geriatric populations ultimately led her to become a wellness director for a senior living facility. Providing services to the community in a larger role has allowed Michelle to apply her clinical experience with her passion for developing healthy communities through inspirational leadership. She spends her spare time with her husband and two beautiful daughters, Malia and Lana.
