Heather Yost

Executive Director

Our executive director, Heather Yost, comes to Sunnycrest with more than 15 years of experience working in different capacities in the senior care industry. She has a passion for working with seniors, and her goal is to learn how to best support each resident to ensure Sunnycrest is a place they are proud to call home. In her free time, Heather enjoys hanging out with her 14-year-old daughter, their cat named Sweetheart and their dog Ozzie.

Shawna Lennartson Oswandel

Director of Sales and Marketing

Shawna Lennartson Oswandel, our director of Sales and Marketing, brings nearly two decades of experience in the senior health care industry. Previously, she held positions as an executive in hospice and home health care and served as a direct assistant to several senior living facility directors.

"For nearly two decades, I have loved what I do; it has, and continues to, bring me joy, and always makes me smile. I am proud of the small, but important role I have been blessed to play in caring for older generations who have sacrificed so much, and have such giving hearts."


Raeven Gonzalez

Business Office Director

Raeven Gonzalez started her career in senior living in 2013 as a server. Through the years, she has been able to be a part of many different departments; but her love of paper keeps her happy in the Business Office. When Raeven isn’t hard at work, she enjoys spending time with her partner, Joel, and their dog and two cats, improving their home with DIY projects and going to Disneyland. 


Alma Gomez

Senior Vibrant Life Director

Alma Gomez has been working with seniors for over 18 years. As her grandmother’s companion, she often witnessed how seniors were sometimes not given the quality of life they deserved. Wanting to help improve their quality of life, she began working in assisted living after becoming a certified nurse assistant. Working in activities for the last 10 years, Alma works to ensure that residents moving to a senior community have a pleasant experience. She strives to offer programming to keep residents active, social and engaged. Alma was raised in Southern California, the oldest of five siblings. Along with her brothers, Alma loves football and is a lifelong 49ers fan. She loves to travel with her husband and have as many adventures as possible. Alma is an animal lover and currently has two dogs and four cats. She is thrilled to be part of the Sunnycrest family.

Jessica J. Thielmann

Resident Care Director

Jessica J. Thielmann has been in the assisted living industry for over five years. She is committed and passionate about making a difference every single day. She has been a nurse for 18 years, and has two children. When she isn’t at work, Jessica loves going to the beach and playing golf.


Nick Doot

Building Services Director

Our Building Services director, Nick Doot, came to Sunnycrest with more than 20 years of experience in customer service and maintenance positions. Seven years prior to joining the Sunnycrest team, Nick started working in the senior living industry and found a passion for serving seniors. Nick truly loves what he does and aims to improve the quality of life for residents at Sunnycrest every day. In his free time, Nick enjoys gardening, fishing and being outdoors.

Brian Jester

Culinary Services Director

Brian Jester, Culinary Services director, began his career in the food service industry at 16 years old. Before joining the Sunnycrest team, Brian owned and operated two restaurants on the East Coast, as well as a catering business for more than 20 years. Brian is an award-winning chef with exceptional skills when it comes to seafood, decadent chocolate desserts or BBQ.
